The largest charity run “Wings for Life World Run”

On May 10, the world’s largest charity race, Wings for Life World Run, will take place in Latvia for the first time in person – in Valmiera. At the same start point, hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world will run, including experienced runners, beginners, and participants in wheelchairs.

The goal of the run is to raise funds for spinal cord injury research, so that in the future people after such injuries will be able to walk again. All participation fees and donations are directed to scientific research.

The format of the run is unique – it does not have a classic finish line. After the start, participants are gradually caught up by a Catcher Car, which determines the end of the run for each participant.
