Green Railways is a network of more than 500 km of cycling and walking routes developed on former railway lines in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. The routes offer a sustainable, slow-travel experience, allowing visitors to explore nature, cultural heritage, and local lifestyles at an unhurried pace.The project received international recognition by winning the European Greenways Association (EGWA) Award in 2019 as one of Europe’s outstanding greenway initiatives.

Struve Geodetic Arc (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Dikļi – Birthplace of the Latvian Song Festival Tradition
